Child and Vulnerable Person Safety
Working with children and other vulnerable persons carries significant ethical and legal responsibilities. Each Australian state and territory has its own legislation governing mandatory reporting, guardianship, and the care of vulnerable individuals. ThisĀ module consolidates these requirements into a set of clear, practical policies and procedures to support compliance and ensure safety.
These documents have been developed through extensive research and training, reflecting current legislation, APS guidelines, and AHPRA expectations (including the Code of Conduct, 2025 release). They provide guidance for all team members and clinicians on identifying, responding to, and reporting concerns, as well as maintaining professional standards when working with vulnerable clients.
